![]() Jane Ellen is a no-nonsense type of girl. She was born in Virginia, has a useless college degree which she loved every minute of acquiring, and now lives in Tennessee. Hollywood glamour has always held a fascination for her. When she tells you she won't go to the mailbox without mascara and lip gloss (the bare necessities) she is not joking. She was once told to dress like a mom for an audition and wear khakis and flats. She responded with "Miss Ellen doesn't own any flats or khakis" and "I am a mom and I wear four-inch heels." All true. Traditional, she is not. But she got the part anyway. (She often refers to herself in third person, clearly showing a need for intense therapy.) She has also been told she doesn't look like a "real person." Admittedly, she's not the blend into the rest of the crowd type. ![]() Being the youngest of four girls, no doubt she had to constantly try to stand out. She claims to be shy and retiring. But the platinum blonde hair is a bit of a giveaway. Jane Ellen spent much of her career as an award-winning FM radio broadcaster in a few different states. Lately, she has turned to the freedom of the internet by podcasting and has brought her improv skills to a more national level. She is represented by the DAN Talent Group, Inc. (www.DANtalentgroup.com) and is a voice over artist, actor, model, and host of major events. . Jane Ellen has many addictions: shopping, coffee, shoes (I guess that goes under shopping), great movies, her two daughters, chocolate-covered coffee beans, and cooking. She is also a recovering food addict who lost 200 pounds through gastric bypass surgery in 2002 and reconstructive body shaping plastic surgery in 2008. She moderates her local surgical weight loss support group monthly to help those who have the same issues. Surgery is not a quick fix. It's just a tool. ![]() It has been pointed out that in previous incarnations of her bio, people didn't really get a sense of Jane Ellen. So here it is. She loves to read, but she loves to laugh more. And when something is truly funny to her she snort-laughs. She has had some of the same friends since grade school. She is one of those people that you either love her or you hate her. There is no middle ground with this one. If she really wants to do something nice for you, she'll bake you something. Speaking of, she's working on a cookbook. Well, three cookbooks. Miss Ellen is a multi-tasker. She has issues with authority figures. Usually because the ones she has come across have been morons. Sarcasm is one of her most favorite things in the world. And pizza. She also loves The Beatles, Monty Python, and early Steve Martin stand-up routines. Singin' in the Rain, Young Frankenstein, Arsenic and Old Lace, Notorious, Ghostbusters and Casablanca and the Lord of the Rings Trilogy are among her favorite films. And she alleges George Clooney and Kevin Smith have a thing for her. I wouldn't argue that point if I were you. |

| Q &
A: You ask & Jane answers... Q: How can you talk about food and cook so much and yet eat nothing? I know you had gastric bypass surgery. A: It's true, I had RNY gastric bypass in 2002. But I do eat food. I love food. So much so I required that surgery. I am addicted to food. And the best way for me to face my addiction is head on every day in the kitchen. Cooking is one of my favorite creative outlets. Cleaning up after, not so much. Q: Do you really know all that obscure trivia about movies and actors and music or are you looking it up while you do the podcast? A: Sad to say, I really know it. One random thing triggers another bit of minutiae tucked away in my brain. It's the only reason why I'm not an astronaut. That and the whole space bathroom situation. Q: Has anyone ever told you that you kind of look like Marilyn Monroe? Is that on purpose? A: Yes. No. Q: Rumor has it you cuss like a sailor. What's that about? A: I didn't use such language until I was 22. So I'm real new to it. And it starts with an m. There's just something musical about it. Q: How many pairs of shoes do you have? A: Not as many as you'd expect. I have friends with well over 300 pair. I have about 70. Q: What's your favorite sound? A: My two daughters laughing, the sound of water, be it waves on a beach, heavy rain, a river, hey, I'm a Pisces, it's kind of expected. Q: What is the flight speed of a European sparrow? A: Ladened or non-ladened? Because it's more of a weight ratio thing. |

Jim calls himself a curmudgeon and he could care less what you would think of his great love of professional wrestling. Adam (????) (born Laurence Tureaud on May 21, 1952) the youngest son in a family with twelve children, is a fictional character in his eponymous video game series, created by video game designer Shigeru Miyamoto, as well as appearing in numerous spin-off comics, cartoons and books. Jane Ellen wanted a game capable of selling over one million copies and a character to replace Jub Jub the self pleasuring monkey as the company's mascot. Adam is also an American professional wrestler. He performs for World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), formerly the World Wrestling Federation, on its Raw brand. Adam is one of the most iconic villains in film history, and was listed as the third greatest movie villain on the American Film Institute list "AFI's 100 Years... 100 Heroes and Villains." He also enjoys sandwiches and air conditioning. |

Jane Ellen invited Eda Price to join the Web site staff when she grew tired of finding Eda lurking around her house. Frankly, she was scaring the kids. So now Eda lives the kind of glam life that most people can only dream of, mingling with and writing about the hottest celebs, wearing really great shoes and, of course, seeing to Miss Jane Ellen's every whim. By day, Eda enjoys spacious accommodations in Jane Ellen's walk-in closet, coordinating Miss Ellen's many ensembles and accessories throughout the day. By night, she trolls the streets of Hollywood in search of tabloid fodder. The commute is hell -- but the fringe benefits are great. |

Brien Travis dared Jane Ellen to duet with him on Baby, It's Cold Outside via email-and she did. His music is so big in Japan it takes up both the driver and passenger side seats. He's married to Jolene Blalock, until he wakes up. And he knows for fact that Sharon Stone smells like expensive rain. Learn more about Brien's music and photography at his website, BrienTravis.com |
